Added Value Services
Increasingly many of our asset partners choose other services rather than monetary recompense for the use of their assets for advertising.
The next big idea for municipalities?
Urban planning requires vision and insight. CBS Outdoor works with futurologists to understand the key requirements for cities and their citizens in the medium-to-long-term.
For example, we expect to see a greater migration towards the use of electric and hybrid vehicles, particularly in urban areas.
In response, we are working with municipal and other asset partners to provide the infrastructure that will make widespread electric vehicle adoption a practical proposition. CBS Outdoor asset partners will soon be able to turn the wealth created from advertising into vehicle charging points.
CBS Outdoor will provide turnkey solutions for our partners, developing the network requirements, managing the installation and managing the provision of the service.
For many organisations, notably those in the public sector, this is an opportunity to provide sustainable services / facilities without a major impact on the public purse / taxpayer.
Additionally, dormant site transformations are proving popular. We fund the transformation of a central / urban derelict site into something that carries a public benefit – simple landscaping, a recycling site, a playground, or a secure bicycle park – in return for placement of an advertising installation.
With every partner, we first seek to understand stakeholder requirements and project constraints – whether environmental, operational or regulatory – and agree bespoke solutions before moving forward with implementation.
