Belfast City Council show the True scale of waste

Belfast City Council are using 4 double deck wrapped buses to demonstrate the size of Belfast's waste problem.

"We used the scale of Doubledecks to communicate the size of the waste problem to Belfast's homeowners. We were able to demonstrate the sheer volume of items such as food, clothing, packaging and electricals by using the scale and size of double-deckers and show just how many bus loads of each item are being sent to landfill sites on a weekly basis. 

The size of the buses themselves ensures that our message is both visible and impactful.

We want Belfast's homeowners to understand just how big our waste problem is and hopefully start to look at their own individual behaviour ". 

Campaign Duration: The campaign starts in September 2009 and runs for 6 months. In addition to 4 doubledeck wrapped buses, bus internals are being used to support mixed outdoor, radio and other promotional activity.
